who is Ria

'Balancing a life dedicated to training 1000 therapists, giving worldwide teachings and seminars and establishing a foundation after a heart wrenching trip to some of Africas poorest regions, Ria panen Godesberg's life is a full expression of the love that is at the very core of her being.

Being with Ria is experiencing this all encompassing love. The expression of this love has the potential to be the next great evolutionary shift for the human race, based on the individuality that as a race we have struggled so hard to achieve, and guide us through the vast challenges that we are already facing as human beings.

Ria wants to awaken this love in all human beings and it is through this love that a capacity is created for profound intimacy between the men and women, who are standing in their deepest selves. To experience this love is to be transformed, and for this transformation to be established we have to live it.

In order to change on a deep level we have to see where we are now and what we are expressing and doing. Ria's function as a teacher is to act as a mirror and to show us exactly where we are now, and the love that is possible in our lives.

To establish this love in our lives is a lifelong daily practice of presence.

Ria will show how to see and go beyond our conditioning, fixed ideas, concepts and opinions; and will show us how to physically and volitionally shift our consciousness from our minds to our hearts and open the door to true transformation and the compelling and vital meaning and purpose of our lives.'

Horse accident

Today is a special day. Today I have not felt depressed at all, had no fear and feel a lot more confident. This after all the pain and agony I have been through since my accident with my horse the 15th of March 2009. You can read about that on the site wake-up-life-is-waiting-sasenyin.blogspot.com. But the reason I write this post here is because it has revealed so much about all the relationships I have with people.

It is simply wonderful to be allowed to experience so much love, so much willingness to make me feel well. This is simply fantastic.

For me love means giving without thinking about wanting anything back. That is my way of living which is loving. That I would get all this back is soooo wonderful. Not that it is worth having to have such an horrible accident for it. Yet to be able to see something happening I had never believed I would ever receive of others: that is an enormous gift. I am gratefull for it and wanted to share this with you.

Just love, try to see the best in people, and your life will be filled with riches!!!

about Ria Panen Godesberg

Ria Panen Godesberg is a spiritual master.

The essence of her work is to help people find their way to a profound state of love, consciousness and self-reliance.

Those who seek her guidance are able to heal their inner selves and thus be of service to others.

Much of Ria’s knowledge is self-realized and throughout her life she has been highly trained in different areas.
From birth to the present she has been on an upward trajectory that has taken her to many parts of the world where she has been a force that has helped to bring about change in the lives of individuals as well as raising their consciousness to include others and the planet.
Ria was born with clairvoyant abilities and began practicing yoga and meditation at a very youngage. From 1972 to 1980 she studied and practiced anthrosophical heilpaedagogy and anthroposofical medicine (methods introduced by Rudolf Steiner) as well as oriental massage techniques.
In 1980 she moved to Ibiza, Spain where she currently resides with her husband Helmut and their Icelandic horses. Ria has two adult daughters. For a year she moved to the Canary Islands where she created a base for Greenpeace using her own means in which to fund the project.

Ria is the founder and creator of the Sa‘Sen Yin therapy method. In 1987 she created two integral parts of this method: Reintegration Massage and Etheric Osteopathy.
She continues to practice this method herself as well as training new therapists around the world.
In 1989 she began studying and practicing Chi Kung and T’ai Chi Chuan. She has been teaching these two martial arts since 1991. She has studied geotherapy (healing art of clay) and fitotherapy (healing with herbs) and uses this knowledge in her work.
Over the last 10 years she has used her knowledge and experience to help restructure several businesses.
In 1992 Ria created what is known "only" as ‘The Course’. This is a course she gives by invitation only and is the vehicle that she has created to help others evolve to a higher state of consciousness. Ria considers this to be the most important part of her work and is very interested in finding more people who are qualified to take The Course.
AND Ria not only works with people she also works with animals, especially horses!
She is currently in the process of launching a group of websites to help to bring her work to the world. The site you are on now is the first.

Birthdays are to get honoured if it is one's own, or to honour the person one loves. Sometimes it is just wonderful to do something different, for example to set a theme to the day as here in 2008 the party guests were requested to wear an oriental touch. The result was that they were more authentic than ever because of their fancy dress. And some really had a lot of fantasy, so there was an Indian lady, an Indonesian witch, a chinese princess and all kinds of varieties from the east. It created new connections between the same people, which made the party extra lovely.

To give tips for a relationship is very easy, at least for me. Why? Because I have a long, loving and healthy relationship in which I have been through heaven and hell.

Relationship Tip #1

Both of us are now aware that a relationship can only be healthy when both partners work on the relationship. So my first tip is that you both need to be actively interested in building on your relationship to keep it healthy, every day of your lives!

Relationship Tip #2

We are very aware that we are two different people. We have a lot in common, but we also have very different needs. So we have learned to let the other person be free. And that brings me to my next tip. Set your partner free; don’t be possessive, and be free yourself!
This will bring trust into your relationship and at the same time creates the need for more trust; otherwise you will want to control your partner. So trust and be trustworthy!

Relationship Tip #3

Setting your partner free is one thing. Doing what one needs oneself is another. It is very important to learn to respect what is important for yourself. Because without self-respect, you are not going to ask for what you need. Without this self-respect you will start to resent, and this resentment will come down on your partner. So, respecting yourself with all your needs and wants is Tip #3.

Resentment is actually a form of disrespect. The respecting of your partner, which will definitely improve your relationship, is as vital for you as for him/her. Why? Because when your partner feels respected by you, he/she will treat you right and trust because he/she will want to give you back exactly that what you need. So: Respect your partner!

Relationship Tip #4

I already said that two partners are two different people. So they have different interests. Even if the interests of your partner are totally dissimilar from yours, show curiosity, ask questions, listen, for there is always something to learn and it binds you together, it expresses mutual respect.

Relationship Tip #5

We are both people with strong personalities. Because of the work I do and the places I do it, I travel a lot. I speak many languages and meet many, many people. Yet, I will never forget how important my husband is to me. I will never pass over him. He therefore will never try to be the protagonist in my work environment. He knows I love him and that he is of vital importance to me. So the next tip is: Show your partner you care. Show them that you really find her/him to be of primary significance.

Relationship Tip #6

We live in a country where it is normal for people, as soon as they close their front door and are within their family, to change clothes and become really sloppy. After five years they don’t notice the other partner any more, after ten years they commit adultery. Maybe I exaggerate, maybe not! Yet I do know that I find it pleasant to be around people who look after themselves. So my next tip is: Stay attractive for your partner; and this counts for women as well as men!!
